How long does it take to get what you order?
For every order, there are generally two things that determine how fast your merchandise will arrive at your door from 48 Barriers.
1. The Estimated Business Days before Shipment. This is the manufacturer’s “standard” production time. This is only an estimated date, and not a guaranteed shipping date. (We can RUSH any order if necessary; just call us at 816-888-5700 Intl. or 866-755-3325 Toll Free to speak to our customer service team.)
2. Upon shipment from the factory, the destination and mode of transportation determines the arrival time. All orders shipped via UPS ground or common carrier (truck), in general, arrive within 1 to 7 business days. International estimated arrival times will be determined just prior to shipment and will be emailed to you. Use of expedited freight such as, 2-Day Air and Next Day Air services are available. Tracking your orders
48 Barriers can track most orders within minutes if you need to find out the status of your order. Please contact our Customer Service Department at the contact link on this page, or call 816-888-5700 Intl. or 866-755-3325 Toll Free.
48 Barriers shipping prices are F.O.B. and the shipping point will vary by manufacturer. Freight is determined by weight and cube. We will calculate the freight fees and communicate that to you before any charge is made to your account. No charge will be made without your authorization. Your prompt response will insure the continued timely shipment of your order. No charge will be made prior to shipment of your order.
Credit card orders will receive an e-mail confirmation with the order total including shipping. Let us know if you have a preferred carrier and account number, otherwise, we will choose the most cost efficient method available. 48 Barriers will utilize the significant discounts we receive from our shipping partners, and we offer that savings to you!

48 Barriers accepts the following forms of payment:
- Purchase Orders from Governmental agencies, Schools, and Churches
- American Express
- Wire Transfer
Warranties vary by manufacturer. Those with lifetime warranties will be stated in the description and all other items are covered by a standard 1-year limited warranty.
What to do if your shipment arrives damaged
Before signing for any delivery, be sure to inspect the packages for any sign of damage. If you discover any items are damaged refuse shipment on the damaged items only. Receive all other items.
If in transit the boxes appear to have been damaged, make note of this on the delivery receipt before signing for the delivery. Then, contact 48 Barriers Customer Service Department so that we can arrange to replace your damaged merchandise and schedule the shipper to inspect the damaged packages.
If any concealed damage is discovered, contact the 48 Barriers Customer Service Department immediately upon discovery of the damage and we will begin the process of replacing the damaged items. You generally have 24 hours to report any concealed damage. Digital photos of the damages are also helpful. Please email them to us using the contact link on this page.
Prior to returning any merchandise, please contact 48 Barriers Customer Service Department to receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Orders returned without RA # may experience delays in the credit process.
If you have not received the correct product in perfect condition, we will be happy to arrange for a replacement order to be shipped to you at our expense. 48 Barriers will also arrange to have a carrier pick up your merchandise at our expense.
If you would like to return merchandise for any other reason, a restocking charge of up to 25% may apply to any items returned within 30 days. Items returned after 30 days may be subject to a 30% restocking charge and are accepted at our discretion. If items are not returned to 48 Barriers in resalable condition, the cost to refurbish will be deducted from the credit. These percentages and terms are determined by the manufacturer of each product and may vary.
IMPORTANT: When returning products to 48 Barriers, be sure to send them back pre-paid, insured, and save your shipper’s tracking numbers. Without your tracking numbers, it will be difficult to prove that your return arrived at the factory. Don’t forget to call us first prior to shipping any items back!
